DFF announces the Rockstart accelerator pitch competition

The Digital Freedom Festival, in collaboration with the Rockstart accelerator (the Netherlands) has opened applications to the pitch competition, where winners will win a fast-track ticket to the accelerator.

Applications are open until October 19th to apply for the DFF x Rockstart pitch competitions. 

Finalists of the pitch competition will get to:

  • Pitch to Rockstart, one of Europe’s first multi-vertical startup accelerators (@Investor Day)
  • Pitch on main stage in front of a 1500+ audience (top 3 finalists, @DFF, November 30th)
  • Network with investors at Investor Day and during the conference
  • Receive additional media attention

Winners of the pitch competition will win the opportunity to participate in the final selection round for the newest Rockstart batch, thereby bypassing many rouds of selection, jumping the queue to the final selection.

Rockstart is a multi-vertical startup accelerator, and is looking for emerging tech startups. Those selected will reveive 20,000eur in pre-seed funding, as well as additional financing for office rental and support from mentors totaling EUR 80,000. The more than 50 various support tools offered have a total value of approximately EUR 100,000.

After the first selection round, selected startups will participate in the Digital Freedom Festival x Rockstart Pitch Competition, presenting their ideas to local and international investors, media and other festival visitors. The top three startups will pitch on the main stage at the Digital Freedom Festival on December 30th.

The deadline for startup pitch competition applications is October 19th. The application form can be filled out online here. The selected startups (10–15 startups) will be announced on November 2nd.

Please note that for this year's Digital Freedom Festival startups are also invited to submit applications for a pitch competition intended for seed startups, which is hosted by the world’s most influential accelerator 500 Startups.
