Infogram Co-founder Alise Semjonova named in Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe Class of 2017

Alise Semjonova, the Co-founder and UX designer of Infogram - the world's favorite data visualization tool - has been named in the prestigious Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe list, media category. Other nominees from Latvia are basketball player Kristaps Porziņģis and the Co-founder of Latvian startup Sorry as a Service Sabīne Pole.

Alise Semjonova is the Co-founder and UX designer at Infogram - the data visualization tool that helps people create charts, infographics, maps and reports. The company serves 2.9 million users including marketers, educators, journalists and business professionals like The Huffington Post, Al Jazeera, Amnesty International, Deloitte, Skyscanner and many others.

Infographics and charts made with Infogram are viewed by over 50 million people every month. Alise is also the initiator of Riga Tech Girls - an organization that aims to educate and inspire women to work in the tech industry.

Alise Semjonova: “To be chosen from 15,000 candidates and make it to the final list of 600 young innovators is a great honour. This is also a recognition for Infogram for changing the way people think and talk about data. I am lucky to live in a time when you don't have to be born into a high status family or inherit the chance to change the world around you. It is earned with hard work and has no age limit. I hope this will inspire many young women in Latvia to make their ideas come true and start their own tech companies.”

Every year Forbes 30 Under 30 celebrates young leaders, entrepreneurs, innovators and experts under the age of 30. This year's list includes 600 young leaders from 6 continents and 51 countries.

Latvia is also represented in this top by the basketball player Kristaps Porziņģis in the entertainment category and Co-founder of the startup Sorry as a Service Sabīne Pole in the retail and e-commerce category. See the full list here.
