Sonocase launches equity crowdfunding campaign on Funderbeam

An Estonian-Latvian startup Sonocase, developer of smart connected audio accessory family Ampple, is launching its equity fundraising campaign on Funderbeam, the leading Baltic equity crowdfunding site.

The new capital of €75,000 will be used to finalize prototyping of the first hardware product Ampple for iPad and secure first product orders from major US electronics retailers that already have indicated their interest in rolling the product out into the market.

This round follows last year’s sucessful campaign of Ampple for iPad on Indiegogo with over 500 units of product pre-ordered. Products developed by Sonocase have also been recognized by the heavyweights of global electronics industry, achieving certification of well-known component supplier Arrow Electronics, as well as being selected for manufacturing colaboration by Foxconn, world’s largest contract manufacturer of consumer electronics.

Sonocase also is a proud alum of Buildit – Europe’s Hardware and Creative Industries’ accelerator based in Tartu.

Sonocase equity campaign has demonstrated a strong start as 40% of the minimum funding target have already been commited in the first 12 hours after the campaign’s beginning.

Founded in 2015, Sonocase aims to re-segment the sound experience on mobile screens through creating of application-enabled audio accessories for watching movies and TV, as well as playing music and games on iPhones and iPads.
