Eventech is a “spin-off” from the Institute of Electronics and Computer Science (IECS) that manufactures and develops high-precision time of flight electronics for space industry. Company has two general business directions. One is to serve existing satellite laser ranging (SLR market) the other is to look for new applications in scientific and industrial domains, like space, oil&gas, medical etc. Potential partnership models with specific industry players are welcome.
"Eventech" Ltd was founded in December 2011 as a “spin-off” from the Institute of Electronics and Computer Science (IECS) as a vehicle to show to the rest of the world its unique achievements. The first aim of the Company is to serve the existing Satellite Laser Ranging market, the second and most important aim is to develop new applications and markets for existing even timing technology, and products. At present the Company operates in Riga (Latvia) and has 3 employees and 4 freelance researchers.
We have strong scientific background with more than 40 years of studies in high-performance and high-precision event time recording system development. Today we are offering our services to other field/industry experts and scientists all over the world.
Event timing technology was invented by Prof.Yuri Artyukh who has spent his career in the area of high-precision timing measurements for various specific applications, and designing of the corresponding application systems. The Intellectual Property (IP) created during these efforts is protected by know-how and owned by the Company.
Strong R&D activities continue to be the backbone of Eventech, and we are looking forward to new dimensions of time tracking and technology development.
